Models-turned-editors Anja Rubik and Sasha Knezevic launched the new-look Austrian fashion quarterly called 25 magazine in Paris last month. The first issue was 192-page thick and had advertisers such as Giuseppe Zanotti and Armani. They put out two versions of the magazine: an English-language edition (confidential circulation of about 2000 copies) and the main edition in German (50 000 copies), each sold for €4,50. It is an Austrian-based publication after all, hence the larger German distribution.
25 magazine boasts several famous contributors including photographer Victor Demarchelier, actress Joy Bryant, and architect Bettina Zerza. It is also rumoured that Julia Restoin-Roitfeld, daughter of French Vogue’s editor Carine Roitfeld, will be joining the ranks soon.
The cover of the debut issue (three covers actually), photographed by Marcin Tyszka, features models Karlie Kloss, Abbey Lee Kershaw and Constance Jablonski on three individual covers.
And 25 magazine has even started its own YouTube channel…
