Canada: Best on Page Awards honor Monster.com’s creative work

Best on page mags canada soldier The international exhibit and the Best on Page Awards show, honoring Canada’s best magazine ad creative, was held in Toronto on April 8, attracting attendees from across the creative, design, media, production, publishing and marketing communities. Magazines Canada revealed its People’s Choice winners, voted on by attendees at the 2010 edition of the Best on Page Awards, from among 150 award-winning magazine ads from around the world.

This year’s exhibition featured an amazing, creative collection of international award winners from the Cannes Lions Festival, Clios, New York Festival Awards, Loerie Awards, Epica Awards and Canada’s own Marketing Awards.  And the People’s Choice 2010 winner is: Monster.com for Stuck in the wrong job, “Soldier” creative, from JWT, Hong Kong.  Please click to view the entire exhibition of international ads.

Magazines Canada also unveiled this video at the Best on Page event: a promotion about the highlights and strengths of magazines and the strong bond they create with their readers. I think it’s also worth mentioning that the format of the video is very iPhone- or iPad-friendly.
