Psychologies magazine just announced it had launched its 11th international edition in Greece despite the current economic turmoil there. The debut issue will cover topics such as “I came up with an opportunity despite the crisis”, “5 steps towards internal strength”, as well as features on sexuality, the father figure, ecology, and the values of detox.
Psychologies, which was started under its current format in 1998 in France by Jean-Louis Servan-Schreiber, also founder of business magazine L’Expansion, after he bought from Bernard Loiseau the year before and engineered one of France’s most successful magazine turnarounds ever. Indeed, the magazine’s circulation went from 75 000 copies a month in 1998 to more than 350 000 copies, making the country’s second most profitable women’s monthly behind (Note: Marie ClaireElle is a weekly in France).
